On May 24, the 13th CIES was held in InterContinental Hangzhou. With the theme of “promoting the construction of new energy system and the high-quality development of energy storage industry”, the key, hot and difficult issues such as opportunities and challenges faced by energy storage industry were fully discussed and exchanged at this CIES. Shenzhen BAK Power Battery Co., Ltd. Take precautions and accumulate steadily
As a supporting device to solve the intermittent and fluctuating problems of wind power and PV, energy storage is a key link in the green and low-carbon industry, showing its self-evident importance. At present, China’s energy storage industry is still in the primary stage, but with its huge development potential and market space. According to the research, it is estimated that the new energy storage will enter the stage of large-scale development in 2025, and fully enter the stage of marketization in 2030, and the cumulative domestic market scale will reach RMB 10 trillion.

Continuous innovation and outstanding advantages
BAK’s energy storage battery adopts modular design and is equipped with intelligent battery management system (BMS), which has outstanding advantages such as small size, light weight, long service life, high temperature resistance and support for large current discharge. The shape and capacity can be customized according to customer requirements. In contrast, prismatic lithium-ion cells are even better. On the one hand, through the optimization of materials such as graphite electrode, electrolyte additive and composite conductive agent and the adoption of graphene conductive coating technology, they have better cycle performance, and are equipped with extreme top cover technology, thus improving the compaction density of positive and negative materials and the efficiency of negative electrode. On the other hand, BAK Battery accelerates the low-temperature conduction of lithium ions by developing new electrolyte additives, and LFP products have better low-temperature performance.
It is worth noting that the three large prismatic batteries on display are all made of LFP + graphite materials, with more powerful performance, ultra-high cell rated energy of 320 Wh-896 Wh, and excellent continuous discharge capacity, and more durable. The cycle life of the cell can exceed 8000 times to provide safe and reliable long-term use. They can work stably in the temperature range of -20℃ to +55℃ to meet the normal use requirements in extreme environment. The peak charging current can reach 100A-150A, and the fast charging speed is constantly refreshed. They can also meet the diversified needs in application scenarios, such as base stations, home storage, small car shops, power grid energy storage, and large vehicles.
In addition, the 3U home storage box exhibited by BAK has a rated total energy of 5120Wh, which can be called “super-large charging treasure”, to easily meet outdoor electricity consumption, household emergency preparedness electricity consumption and other scenarios, and at the same time, with the protection functions of overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, low temperature, overtemperature and short circuit, users can gain the triple ultimate experience of portability, durability and safety.
